Hayley Webster
Self-Taught Worcestershire Fine Artist
My dad used to say I could sell my art, and I used to laugh. What a ridiculous notion. But how wrong I was. Even when I started posting my work on Instagram in 2019 I still didn’t believe it. Until one day, my very first customer (the lovely Elise) saw my first textured seascape and paid me £100. The rest, as they say, is history.
To read the full story of my art journey, you can read my blog, but for now, here are the main bits. Hi, I’m Hayley, a self-taught seascape and landscape artist from Stourport on Severn in Worcestershire. I am best known for creating textured seascape artwork inspired by my love and adoration for the Cornish coast. However, I also enjoy creating art inspired by the beauty of the UK landscape such as depictions of our beautiful mountains and lush rolling hills.
My signature textured pieces are acrylic and mixed media and my countryside landscapes are either acrylic or oil.
When I’m not creating art you can find me wandering through the Wyre Forest, out of breath trying to hike a Welsh mountain, or pottering around the allotment with my children and of course, catching sunsets on the beaches of Cornwall.
Exploring the UK coastline through art…
Take yourself on a journey along the UK coastline and explore the natural, rugged beauty of its stunning seascape and landscape. From the dramatic coastlines of Cornwall to the tranquil beaches of Scotland, you will discover a seascape-inspired painting that’s right for you. Each piece of seascape artwork is inspired by a personal journey I have taken to these places and is now captured in permanent memory on the canvas to be shared and adored by you.
Let connection guide you
Choosing the perfect piece of seascape artwork for your home should be guided by connection. Take a moment to think about what is drawing you to a particular piece and take notice of the feelings it invokes in you. I want my artwork to be enjoyed by all, but most importantly, by people who feel connected to its purpose.

Art inspired by the UK countryside
From the rolling hills of Yorkshire to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons the UK has some of the most stunning countryside. Coastal walks, mountain hikes, and forest foraging are some of my favourite things to do when I’m not admiring the beach and staring out into the ocean, and I’m so lucky to be surrounded by such beauty right on my doorstep. This year I’m trying to capture some of my favourite spots through art. You can expect to see depictions of the Brecon Beacons, The Wyre Forest, and Shropshire as well as some of my favourite countryside locations in Cornwall and Devon

Find your connection…
When you experience one of my textured seascape artworks, each rivet in the waves, each peak and crest is a different emotion. Every colour blend is a mixture of feelings, memories and dreams that all combine together to make pieces of art so unique yet so relatable.
The ocean, the beach, and the salty sea air hold memories for us all. A holiday romance? A special day? A feeling of peace and tranquillity? Whatever it is, you will find its connection in my ocean artwork because that is what it’s made of. Real art creates an emotional connection to something wonderful. Our memories, our hopes, our dreams can all be found in artwork in the same way they can be enhanced by our surroundings.
Each textured artwork piece has its own meaning, memories and connections. My textured ocean pieces are all of us in our honest truth; rugged and imperfect. My ocean oil paintings represent new beginnings, new journeys and learning to be creative without boundaries. The ink art is about being fearless, fluid and free, following our dreams and desires and trusting the process that everything will turn out beautiful in the end. And every piece, no matter the medium is all about creating goals, manifesting our dreams and taking steps to achieve them and create a better life for ourselves. Each piece holds a memory, a feeling, a desire, how will you discover yours….
